About NEHS
March 23, 1982 Kuo-Ting Li , the then Minister of the Executive Yuan, chaired a special meeting, during which the proposal of establishing National Experimental High School at the Science-based Industrial Park was formally approved by representatives from the Ministry of Education, National Science Council, academic and research institutions, as well as universities in the neighborhood of the Science Park.
June 1982 Preparatory committee was formally established.
August 1983 National Experimental High School at the Science-based Industrial Park was formally founded. Deputy Director Ning-Ruo Chu of Park Administration served concurrently as the first principal of the school. The first enrollments included one senior high class, three junior high classes, and three bilingual classes with one kindergarten class.
March 1, 1984 The Ministry of Education appointed Mr. Yu-Cheng Chang as the second principal to replace Mr. Ning-Ruo Chu who had resigned. The Elementary Department was established in August the same year.
September 1988 Principal Yu-Cheng Chang’s resignation was approved. Mr. I-Ming Chiu was then appointed by the Ministry of Education as the third principal. After Chiu retired in February 1995, Dean of Academic Affairs Hsiao-Yin Tai served as acting principal.
July 1995 A committee made up of representatives from the Ministry of Education and the National Science Council, as well as scholars, parents, and teachers, elected Dr. Li-Ming Tai as the fourth principal through an open process, which was the first case of its kind in this country.

附近大學代表，會商決議成立 「國立科 學工業園區實驗高級中學」。
‧ 一九八二年六月奉准籌備。
‧ 一九八三年八月正式成立，首任校長由園區管理局瞿副局長寧若兼代，招收高中部一班，國中部三班，
雙語幼稚園一班及雙語班二班。
‧ 一九八四年三月一日瞿校長寧若奉准辭兼，教育部派張玉成先生為校長，同年八月增設國小部。
‧ 一九八八年九月，張校長奉准請辭，教育部派邱億明先生就任第三任校長，八十四年二月一日，邱校長
奉准退休，由教務主任戴曉影暫代校務。
‧ 一九九五年七月七日，全國首次由教育部、國科會及學者、家長、教師代表所組成之校長遴選小組， 選
出具加州大學洛杉磯分校(UCLA)哲學博士學位之戴禮明女士就任第四任校長。
‧ 二零零三年八月八日，戴校長服務屆滿，吳榕峰先生就任第五任校長。
‧ 二零零三年七月三十一日，吳校長離職，由教務主任鍾興能暫代校務。
‧ 二零零九年八月三十一日，黃芳芷女士就任第六任校長。
附近大學代表，會商決議成立 「國立科 學工業園區實驗高級中學」。

About GreenMart
綠市集是一群由新竹清華大學心靈發電場課程激盪出來的團體，學員們 致力於自然、健康、在地消費等綠色生活型態之體現。 而綠市集則是竹蜻蜓學員們透過公民運動的型態，並在清華學院指導合作之下，連結在地綠色生產與綠色消費， 希望打造一個友善土地、培力小農的在地綠色市集。

Second-hand Computer Checking & Maintenance
Recently NTHU Tanzania Educational Volunteer Team received more than 100 second-hand computers from ©ASUSTeK Computer Inc. All the members of this volunteer team are very appreciative. Thank you very much for your support and encouragement.

Furthermore, all the members of this volunteer team are dedicated to computer device checking and maintenance in order to offer computers with better quality to those students in Tanzania.
此外，各個成員更致力於電腦硬體的檢修維護，並且執行基本的清潔與保養，為的是讓坦尚尼亞的學童能夠在使用上更佳順暢。

Charity Sale at National Hsinchu Senior High School
This year 2014, on March the eighth, a charity sale from NTHU T.E.V.T took place at National Hsinchu Senior High School. Though the weather wasn't really good, all the members of NTHU T.E.V.T tried their level best to let those teachers and students know more about us, and what we're going to do during the time in Tanzania. We received great support and encouragement from everyone.
All the members of NTHU T.E.V.T are very grateful to National Hsinchu Senior High School, and all walks of life that have supported us. With your help, together we can make this world better! Thank you very much!
2014年三月八日，國立清華大學坦尚尼亞教育志工團前往國立新竹高中進行義賣活動。雖然下着雨，天氣不如預期地好，但坦坦成員們各個用心義賣，深受竹中老師、學生以及民眾的熱情回應。

Love From Engineers Without Borders Taiwan
We are very appreciative that Engineers Without Borders Taiwan offered us 12 second-hand laptops so that we could build up computer classrooms in Tanzania.

ABOUT ENGINEERS WITHOUT BORDERS TAIWAN
EWB-Taiwan’s current focus is to solicit retired notebooks and make them reusable, then donate to the children at remote area where resources for their education are desperately needed. Taiwan is one of the world major notebook producer. Almost 65% of notebooks produced in the world are from Taiwan which amount to over 60 million sets. Due to the fast technology improvement in the hardware and software, existing notebooks in use retire faster and faster which accumulate used notebook faster than ever. In order not to let all the used notebook to idle or become waste to deteriorate our environment, we select the approach to make most of all used notebooks to become useful and start a new journey for their educational use.
